About the role
- Manage broker relationships and activity for key broker partners
- Lead the field sales team at identified gold, silver, and bronze accounts
- Accountable for total annual spend and improving ROI each year
- Align broker contracts and agreements that best serve Perrigo’s long-term interests and sales goals
- Maintain a high-level partnership with each broker team
- Direct/align Broker partners to Perrigo sales goals
- Increase profitable sales of store brand and national brand product portfolio
- Increase Points of Distribution of products at the broker managed accounts
- Create and execute business plans that align with company goals
- Onboard and train broker teams related to new items and branded strategy for growth
- Ensure appropriate distribution alignment between Perrigo’s field organization and national broker partners
- Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Responsible for timely submission of a weekly recap and CTA with product, strategy and reporting updates
Requirements
- Typically these skills are obtained with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of CPG sales/marketing experience
- Negotiation skills to manage broker contract execution
- Strong ability to communicate, influence, and persuade others
- Experience with management of brokers
- Strong problem solving, planning, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel 20%
- Strong organizational skills preferred
