- Verifier role provides exposure to firm life, busy season experience, and basic tax quality assurance work
- Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
- Verifiers work approximately 25 – 35 hours/week; schedule and number of hours will vary
- Ensure data accuracy by reviewing tax return forms compiled via automated software
- Interviews will be held virtually
- Work location flexible; open to fully remote arrangement for candidates located and authorized to work in the United States
- Perkins & Co is not sponsoring visas or hiring internationally at this time
Requirements
- Must be a current student pursuing a degree in accounting or related field with interest in a public accounting career
- Must be available to work 25 – 35 hours per week beginning mid-January to April 15, 2025; prefer availability at least 3 days/week between Monday - Saturday
- Working knowledge of basic office technology and software (MS Office Suite)
- High integrity and trustworthiness
- Ability to learn accounting-specific software and research tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on routine tasks for extended periods of time
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Located and authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
