About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for a critical customer account and onsite population
  • Build trusted partnerships with onsite business leaders and managers
  • Champion cultural engagement and reinforce a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Guide leaders and employees through organizational change
  • Recruit talent, participate in interviews, provide hiring recommendations, and track hiring goals
  • Support talent reviews, organizational design, performance improvement, coaching, and development activities
  • Advise managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and day-to-day HR issues
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters
  • Champion employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Partner with Total Rewards on compensation plans, salary planning, performance management, recognition programs, benchmarking, and compensation reviews
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Serve as stakeholder partner across the client relationship, PerkinElmer leadership, employees, HR Centers of Excellence, and the HR Program Management Office
  • Align leaders on people priorities and increase manager self-reliance
  • Maintain training and compliance in health and safety, security, environmental, and operational areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college plus 6+ years of progressive human resources experience, including organizational development, talent management, or workforce planning
  • Equivalent combination of education and progressive human resources experience may provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with commercial or service leaders to elevate workforce performance
  • Experience building cultural engagement and trust with employees at all levels
  • Solid change management experience guiding teams and leaders through organizational change
  • Proven employee relations experience, including coaching, conflict resolution, and handling sensitive workplace matters
  • Knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems
  • Strong stakeholder management, partnership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and judgment skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix, client-facing environment
  • Must be able to work in a laboratory or controlled environment requiring personal protective equipment
  • Must be able to remain stationary more than 25% of the time
  • Ability to occasionally move between onsite labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings
  • Ability to occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds, with potential occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate a computer and office machinery
