About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the systems
  • Engage with customers to tailor service offerings, including training, support, and upgrades
  • Maintain assigned assets including tools and service parts inventory
  • Complete all administrative tasks such as time reporting and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA Bachelor Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 3 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 5 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR High School Diploma plus 7+ years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
  • Technical critical thinking skills
  • MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to travel by air, vehicle and/or other means of transportation (up to 50% travel)
