About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead market development sales activities in assigned geography
- Develop a pipeline to meet or exceed Territory revenue objectives
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations
- Manage and grow accounts including industrial, research facilities, hospitals and universities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Perform product installations and provide user training
- Network and interface with internal colleagues to share information and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in the Life Sciences
- 2 to 5 years capital scientific equipment sales experience
- Experience selling into hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotech
- Knowledge of NGS and Oncology markets
- In-depth knowledge of molecular biology and proteomics experience a plus
- Critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
