About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue in food testing solutions within your territory
- Prospect, establish, and maintain strong relationships with food processors, testing laboratories, and other key accounts
- Identify, establish, and manage local distributors and dealers to maximize coverage and sales
- Build and maintain a robust funnel of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of PerkinElmer/Perten products and competitor offerings
- Deliver impactful seminars, product demonstrations, and presentations to educate prospects and customers
- Demonstrate accountability for results and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in food testing, food processing
- Track record of meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar annual sales quotas
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships at a high level within large strategic accounts
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and energetic with a results-focused approach to achieving daily goals/activities
- Aptitude to learn new systems and retain technical information.
