About the role

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue in food testing solutions within your territory
  • Prospect, establish, and maintain strong relationships with food processors, testing laboratories, and other key accounts
  • Identify, establish, and manage local distributors and dealers to maximize coverage and sales
  • Build and maintain a robust funnel of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of PerkinElmer/Perten products and competitor offerings
  • Deliver impactful seminars, product demonstrations, and presentations to educate prospects and customers
  • Demonstrate accountability for results and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in food testing, food processing
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar annual sales quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships at a high level within large strategic accounts
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and energetic with a results-focused approach to achieving daily goals/activities
  • Aptitude to learn new systems and retain technical information.
