About the role

  • Vice President, Principal Consulting responsible for leading strategic consulting engagements, shaping market-facing capabilities, and driving significant revenue growth. Accountable for building client trust at highest levels, originating and converting complex opportunities, and mentoring consulting leaders. Billable on active projects within accounts 100% to maintain visibility, support project launches, and guide executive-level touchpoints. Serve as executive sponsor and strategic advisor on high-impact, multi-year client programs; build and sustain C-suite relationships. Personally deliver and influence $2M–$3M+ in annual revenue through direct delivery and opportunity origination. Lead development of new consulting capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual property; sponsor innovative initiatives. Serve as senior mentor and sponsor for Principal Consultants and high-potential talent; lead succession planning and performance management. Participate in executive leadership forums and represent consulting function in cross-functional initiatives and company-wide transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related discipline (OR a combination of equivalent experience in CQV engineering, cGMP facility start-up, project management and/or comparable military experience). Advanced degree preferred. 15+ years in life sciences, biotech, or technical consulting with a proven track record of executive-level impact. Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide initiatives and managing complex client portfolios. Deep experience in consultative selling, pricing strategy, and P&L accountability. Recognized thought leader with a history of shaping industry discourse and driving innovation. Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams across geographies and disciplines.
