About the role

  • Ensure the daily operational execution of the client program, including governance, service performance indicators, and budget management.
  • Develop and deploy the "service" portion of the account plan, including cost-savings programs.
  • Lead a global program to review processes and procedures to ensure compliance with client and PerkinElmer standards.
  • Collaborate with global Quality and EHS teams to ensure compliance and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Manage the client budget effectively: planning, forecasting, reporting, and governance.
  • Effectively manage PerkinElmer's profit and loss in accordance with LEAP principles.
  • Collaborate with peers to leverage data and insights in the management and delivery of account/corporate objectives.
  • Drive a global employee performance management program, including goal setting, talent development, and recruitment.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for the global execution of the Sanofi program.

Requirements

  • University degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree in Science, Mathematics, Health, or Business is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the Life Sciences sector and PerkinElmer’s OneSource portfolio is desirable.
  • Experience managing large teams and profit & loss responsibilities for accounts exceeding $40M.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior client leadership.
  • Experience delivering service solutions to address client challenges.
  • Experience in an operational environment that includes client needs analysis, solution proposal, and contract closing.
  • Experience with procurement processes is an asset.
  • Broad knowledge of information technologies.
  • Deep understanding of research & development, clinical, or manufacturing areas within the life sciences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients across multiple functions or business units.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
