About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and maintain data models that are reliable and well-structured
- Write DAX measures and Power Query transformations
- Ensure all BI outputs meet data quality and governance requirements
- Work directly with stakeholders and communicate findings clearly
- Support the maintenance of data quality across BI outputs
- Investigate root causes and identify opportunities for data analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Able to build and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, join, and manipulate data from relational databases without support
- Able to translate business questions into a structured analytical approach
- Comfortable working with large, messy, or poorly documented datasets
- Communicates analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Understands data governance principles including data quality, access control, and documentation
- Able to manage a backlog of competing requests
- Investigates root causes rather than stopping at surface-level description
