About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the entire lifecycle of a feature, from understanding customer pain points to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with product designer and PM to enhance the billing experience.
- Establish frontend practices and standards as the team's footprint grows.
- Influence architecture and cross-squad initiatives through communication and collaboration across multiple teams.
- Mentor and provide feedback to less experienced colleagues.
- Support Engineering Managers in identifying areas for technical growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior engineers are expected to go beyond the technical solution and focus on the problem itself.
- Understand customer pains with our product team.
- Comfortable taking a set of customer-facing pages from design handoff through to shipped, polished product.
- Comfortable leading design documents that lay the foundation for big changes in platform architecture.
- Define and uphold engineering excellence, including CI/CD optimizations, testing strategies, and coding standards across the frontend stack.
- Lead observability and frontend performance monitoring.
- Comfortable translating complex business goals into technical roadmaps.
