About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure accurate and timely qualification of patient orders for Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) devices.
- Review referral documentation and verify insurance eligibility and coverage requirements.
- Enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system accurately.
- Work collaboratively with referral sources and internal sales teams to obtain missing documentation.
- Provide patients with clear information regarding insurance coverage and benefits.
- Maintain knowledge of payer guidelines, company workflows, and industry regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology/ICD codes preferred.
- Type at least 40 words per minute with no errors
- Organizational skills
