About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- partner with Account Executives across the full sales cycle
- conduct deep discovery to understand customer architecture, workflows, and business objectives
- design and deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements
- serve as the internal champion for the customer
- evaluate customer environments and provide architectural guidance
- contribute to the broader technical community
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, solutions engineering, professional services delivery, or technical support)
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or C/C++ enterprise development
- Strong Linux background with solid understanding of the enterprise Linux ecosystem
- Demonstrable experience with open source software adoption and support
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Proficiency with containerization and virtualization at meaningful scale
- Familiarity with HPC, scientific computing, or performance engineering use cases
- A strong textbook understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to mixed audiences
- A genuine passion for helping developers succeed
- Strong preference for open-source technology contribution and/or experience
