About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews for pediatric patients, ensuring appropriateness, safety, and efficacy
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive medication management plans for pediatric patients
  • Provide remote consultations to caregivers to address medication-related concerns
  • Educate pediatric patients and their caregivers on proper medication use, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program; active pharmacy license required
  • Additional state licensure, upon request
  • Board certification in Pediatric Pharmacy (BCPPS), preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of pediatric pharmacy experience with strong clinical knowledge across disease states
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to convey complex information clearly in virtual settings
  • Proficient in telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and online collaboration tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and remote documentation accuracy
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and meet productivity goals
  • Skilled in influencing and engaging patients and providers through effective, empathetic communication
