About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct thorough medication reviews for pediatric patients, ensuring appropriateness, safety, and efficacy
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive medication management plans for pediatric patients
Provide remote consultations to caregivers to address medication-related concerns
Educate pediatric patients and their caregivers on proper medication use, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Maintain accurate, timely and up-to-date documentation of medication management interventions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program; active pharmacy license required
Additional state licensure, upon request
Board certification in Pediatric Pharmacy (BCPPS), preferred
Minimum 4 years of pediatric pharmacy experience with strong clinical knowledge across disease states
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to convey complex information clearly in virtual settings
Proficient in telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and online collaboration tools
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and remote documentation accuracy
Proven ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and meet productivity goals
Skilled in influencing and engaging patients and providers through effective, empathetic communication
