About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The consulting operating model is undergoing a shift.
AI-native operations make delivery faster, more scalable, and more productive.
You lead AI strategy projects end-to-end: from the strategic roadmap and use-case assessment to implementation with our team.
Project delivery: You independently lead consulting projects or act as a team lead — from AI strategy and use-case assessment to agile implementation in collaboration with the Solution Team.
Develop and realize AI strategies: You define the strategic AI roadmap for new and existing clients and translate complex topics into clear decision-making materials.
Identify and implement use cases: You design and evaluate AI use cases, including running workshops with functional and executive stakeholders.
Work AI-natively: You not only use our AI-enabled delivery methods but also contribute significantly to their development.
Win new consulting engagements and build client relationships: You succeed in proposal processes and represent Perelyn as an AI Strategy Ambassador in talks and at conferences.
Practice building: You shape new service offerings, internal standards, and the growth of the AI Strategy team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in management consulting with demonstrable project responsibility and experience leading workstreams and teams, at a leading consultancy or a specialized boutique.
Current delivery experience: You are still actively engaged in projects today, as a lead or as a strong individual consultant, and want to continue in that role.
AI expertise: AI strategy is core to your project work, and you want to further specialize and develop in this area.
Technical credibility: You have worked close enough to the technology to assess feasibility yourself and to communicate with engineers on equal terms.
A technical academic background, such as computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering, is a strong plus.
Market presence is a plus: association roles, a professional network, or substantive public visibility are welcome.
Languages: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude, strong people skills, and the willingness to find answers to questions that don't yet have solutions.
