About the role

  • Develop the strategy for adapting Peregrine's existing offering to address the most pressing needs of state corrections
  • Create a go-to-market motion to launch and then scale the vertical
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities
  • Deliver senior-level presentations and demonstrations highlighting Peregrine’s advantages
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across deployment strategy, marketing, legal, and operations
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle and be the trusted advisor to the customer

Requirements

  • 12+ years of field sales experience in the enterprise software/SaaS space, ideally building within high-ambiguity greenfield verticals
  • A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex state-level accounts
  • Experience with federal and state grant opportunities for state law enforcement agencies
  • State-level law enforcement/corrections leadership career experience is highly preferred
  • Ability and comfort in negotiating and closing legal agreements with customers
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling, experience managing a complex sales process from 0-to-1
  • Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills
  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
