About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and govern the end‑to‑end architecture for medical imaging solutions across the product landscape
- Ensure that applications, domains, and platform services integrate coherently to deliver scalable, reliable and compliant imaging workflows which support global clinical trials
- Translate product strategy and business objectives into solution‑level architectural direction, aligning multiple domains, teams and stakeholders around a unified technical vision
- Guide architectural decisions which balance delivery efficiency, long‑term sustainability and business value
- Own product-level translation of functional and non-functional requirements across domains
- Define and align NFRs (availability, scalability, resilience, security, privacy) for the product/portfolio
- Run architecture refinement forums; align roadmap with technical runway and compliance needs
- Define product-wide cloud topology and regional deployment strategy
- Drive security-by-design and zero-trust posture across the product line
- Mentor application architects on distributed systems decisions and cloud trade-offs
- Guide adoption of emerging AI capabilities that fit clinical and regulatory needs
- Plan scalability for concurrent reading sessions and global deployments
- Ensure vendor risk management and supplier controls across programs
- Track regulatory changes and guide impact across the product line
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience in technical delivery with a proven record in undertaking design and architecture activities
- Solution/Enterprise design experience essential - relevant qualification (e.g. TOGAF) desirable
- Design methodology experience essential - relevant certification (e.g. UML) desirable
- Experience in scaled agile delivery essential - relevant certification (e.g. SAFe) desirable
- Experience in agile delivery essential - relevant certification (e.g. scrum) desirable
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience
- English: Fluent
