About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor trading-platform performance and resolve operational issues across all live regions.
Manage the trade lifecycle: funding, settlement, reconciliation across ledger and liquidations.
Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology on day-to-day issue resolution.
Own day-to-day configuration management through the back-office admin surface: pair listings, leverage tier limits, fee schedule updates, and risk-limit adjustments.
Improve operational workflows to support team and user growth.
Build runbooks and SOPs for incident response, recon failures.
Own the coverage rotation and on-call schedule.

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years trading-platform operations experience at a CEX or DEX; direct perpetual-futures operations experience required.
Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese (verbal + written).
Deep familiarity with crypto futures operations, and risk-monitoring enforcement.
Experience scaling an ops team through a launch and rapid growth phase.
Strong written communication for runbooks and incident retros.
Ability to live The Pepperstone Way.
Committed to ongoing learning and development.
Familiarity with exchange admin panels and back-office configuration tooling (desirable).
Hands-on use of agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude) for runbook drafting, incident classification, and recon-anomaly investigation (desirable).
