About the role

  • Support enterprise risk and assurance practices in line with Pepperstone’s risk framework, policies, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite
  • Partner with the business to identify, log, and manage risks, controls, issues, and incidents
  • Support control design and testing, including working closely with Risk and Control Owners
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and remediation of operational risk incidents
  • Track remediation actions and support continuous improvement in risk practices
  • Provide risk guidance, training, and subject‑matter expertise across the business
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to capture requirements and translate them into our GRC tooling
  • Develop clear, high‑quality Enterprise Risk & Assurance reports and dashboards
  • Use data and analysis to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of materials for the Audit & Risk Committee
  • Leverage AI tools to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of risk reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in risk reporting, risk analysis, governance or assurance within financial services
  • A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, concepts and processes
  • Proven experience producing risk reports, dashboards or insights
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Experience with CFD or trading operations is advantageous
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience is desirable
