About the role
- Support enterprise risk and assurance practices in line with Pepperstone’s risk framework, policies, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite
- Partner with the business to identify, log, and manage risks, controls, issues, and incidents
- Support control design and testing, including working closely with Risk and Control Owners
- Contribute to root cause analysis and remediation of operational risk incidents
- Track remediation actions and support continuous improvement in risk practices
- Provide risk guidance, training, and subject‑matter expertise across the business
- Work with cross‑functional teams to capture requirements and translate them into our GRC tooling
- Develop clear, high‑quality Enterprise Risk & Assurance reports and dashboards
- Use data and analysis to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Support the preparation of materials for the Audit & Risk Committee
- Leverage AI tools to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of risk reporting
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in risk reporting, risk analysis, governance or assurance within financial services
- A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, concepts and processes
- Proven experience producing risk reports, dashboards or insights
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working to deadlines
- Experience with CFD or trading operations is advantageous
- Power BI and/or Tableau experience is desirable
