About the role
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure in AWS with an emphasis on scalability, cost efficiency and security
- Plan, execute, and automate application deployments to ensure smooth, zero-downtime releases across environments
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
- Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Support containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve release processes and reduce time-to-production
- Drive best practices for system reliability, security, and compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
Requirements
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code solutions: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (GitHub actions or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog), and performance tuning for low-latency environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in high-pressure, real-time environments.
- Ability to live the Pepperstone values.

- Will be considered as a plus:
- Knowledge of trading systems, order management, and market data processing.
- Knowledge of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, FX, or commodities).
- Experience with regulatory and data governance practices in financial platforms
