About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee staffing, sales, and on-site operations for the assigned market
- Lead management teams and ensure success in recruiting, employee development, retention, and promotion
- Improve gross margin and achieve sales growth through customer-base selling and strategic new-account sales
- Ensure operational standards, service excellence, service recovery, and account management
- Oversee safety and compliance and ensure regulatory standards are met
- Plan, deliver, and measure training programs for managers and staff
- Establish performance goals and execute development plans
- Plan, direct, and monitor market strategy to ensure profitability and identify growth opportunities and new vertical channels
- Achieve high customer retention through service-level agreement performance and expanded service capability
- Communicate new deliverables, products, timelines, and changes to the assigned team
- Drive use of the JobStack mobile app and meet or exceed goals for associates, customers, and branch staff
- Directly supervise office and sales staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, complaint handling, and problem resolution
- Travel to branch and client locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or five to seven years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software programs and intranet usage
- Ability to learn and work in a point-of-sale system
- Construction industry knowledge and/or experience preferred
- 3 or more years of project management experience and knowledge
- 3 or more years of Business-to-Business outside sales or business development experience
- 3 or more years of people and operations management experience
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure and deadlines
- Willingness to work long hours and adhere to on-site work schedules
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to travel to branch and client locations
