About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement cost-effective recruitment functions, including locating and visiting outside recruitment centers, processing field employee and customer referrals, and weekly contact with inactive field employees
  • Maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates
  • Contact potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings
  • Execute local recruitment programs and provide information about the Company and its opportunities
  • Write and place job advertisements using various media platforms
  • Coordinate participation in events, set up displays, and present at job fairs, schools, and organizations
  • Complete all phases of the Associate Hiring Process
  • Conduct assignment follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction, safety guideline compliance, and associate satisfaction, including required Quality Assurance Process steps during customer site visits
  • Handle applicant phone traffic, schedule appointments, administer pre-employment assessments, and coordinate application paperwork
  • Administer post-offer drug screens and conduct applicant background checks
  • Conduct safety and new hire orientation for associate new hires
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required
  • Travel locally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in recruiting, customer service, and/or sales
  • Skilled trades recruiting experience required
  • Experience recruiting and engaging traveling skilled trades professionals
  • Understanding of how to sell per diem opportunities, particularly for remote or hard-to-fill markets
  • Understanding of what motivates traveling trades professionals and how to position pay, per diem, location, assignment details, and travel expectations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong commitment to customer service, development, and satisfaction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, internet, job boards, and social media
  • Valid driver's license and a car usable for work
  • Local travel required
  • Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates strongly preferred; strong non-bilingual candidates are also considered if they have the required skilled trades and traveler recruiting experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods; regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
