About the role

  • Hire, retain and lead a team of local sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and quota attainment
  • Drive and manage a disciplined pipeline management process
  • Execute and model sales playbook and methodology
  • Drive acquisition of new customers and revenue
  • Actively represent PeopleReady in the market through client visits, networking events, and community engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partnering on high-value deals and ensuring satisfaction
  • Support reps in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach
  • Conduct bi-weekly funnel reviews, analyze sales metrics, and provide actionable feedback to drive results
  • Partner with operations, recruitment, marketing, and sales enablement to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer feedback, and industry trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years history of success in sales roles, ideally with career progression, preferably B2B
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience in staffing industry or similar experience
  • Proven success in leading sales teams and driving market growth
  • Experience coaching and developing others
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned market (approx. 60% field time)
  • Must reside within the assigned market
