About the role
- Hire, retain and lead a team of local sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and quota attainment
- Drive and manage a disciplined pipeline management process
- Execute and model sales playbook and methodology
- Drive acquisition of new customers and revenue
- Actively represent PeopleReady in the market through client visits, networking events, and community engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partnering on high-value deals and ensuring satisfaction
- Support reps in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach
- Conduct bi-weekly funnel reviews, analyze sales metrics, and provide actionable feedback to drive results
- Partner with operations, recruitment, marketing, and sales enablement to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor competitor activity, customer feedback, and industry trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years history of success in sales roles, ideally with career progression, preferably B2B
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience in staffing industry or similar experience
- Proven success in leading sales teams and driving market growth
- Experience coaching and developing others
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel within the assigned market (approx. 60% field time)
- Must reside within the assigned market
