About the role

Ensure PeopleCert’s AI models run reliably, securely, and at scale in production.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML models.
Automate deployment workflows for training, testing, and serving models in enterprise environments.
Set up monitoring and observability frameworks to detect model drift, bias, and performance degradation.
Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to transition models from prototype to production.
Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
Document workflows and establish best practices for AI operations.
Turn prototypes into trusted enterprise services and maintain model health once live.
May work on Home Office Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) requiring background checks and language proficiency.

Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or higher considered a plus.
3+ years proven experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent).
Strong skills in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid background in CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering applied to ML systems.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and model lifecycle management.
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
Ability to collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams.
Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL a plus); extra languages desired.
Nice-to-have: Experience with feature stores and data versioning tools.
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with large-scale enterprise application environments (ERP, CRM, digital platforms).
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of responsible AI practices (audit logging, explainability frameworks).
Nice-to-have: Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
If working on SELT service: background checks required (DBS, Right to Work in UK, BPSS/CTC, financial and employment reference checks) and appropriate English language skills.
