About the role

Build, customize, and integrate AI-powered services into PeopleCert’s enterprise applications and digital platforms
Develop and maintain custom applications, APIs, and integrations on Microsoft Azure
Collaborate with Machine Learning and MLOps Engineers to wrap models into production-ready services (Azure Functions, Web APIs, Logic Apps)
Extend and integrate AI-driven functionality within enterprise applications and platforms
Build connectors and plugins to expose AI features within workflows (business apps, reporting, automation)
Ensure code and integrations follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability
Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of Azure-based AI services
Work with the AI Solution Architect to align implementations with enterprise architecture and standards
Work closely with the AI team to turn prototypes into usable enterprise solutions and embed AI capabilities into business workflows

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's considered a plus)
3+ proven years of experience in Azure development: Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, API Management
Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with REST and GraphQL API design and integration
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of security and identity management (OAuth, Azure AD, role-based access)
Ability to collaborate across AI, data, and enterprise application teams
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Fabric
Nice-to-have: Experience customizing/extending enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, content management)
Nice-to-have: Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of observability and performance optimization practices for cloud applications
If working on the SELT service: background checks (DBS/basic or enhanced, Right to Work in the UK, BPSS/CTC, financial background check, employment references) and appropriate English language skills or the official language of the relevant country
