About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain long-term relationships with residential, commercial, and municipal clients
- Conduct on-site property inspections and evaluate tree health and safety
- Diagnose tree and shrub health issues, pests, and diseases
- Develop professional arboricultural recommendations following ANSI standards
- Prepare accurate proposals and cost estimates for tree care services
- Present recommendations and educate clients on proper tree care
- Partner closely with production crews to ensure successful project execution
- Attend networking events and business development functions to generate new opportunities
- Consistently achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of arboriculture experience
- ISA Certified Arborist, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days
- Proven sales experience or strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent knowledge of tree identification, plant health care, pruning, removals, pest management, and diagnostics
- Ability to prepare estimates and develop detailed client proposals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable networking and developing new business opportunities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with a safe driving record
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an environmental or related field (preferred)
