About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain long-term relationships with residential, commercial, and municipal clients
Conduct on-site property inspections and evaluate tree health and safety
Diagnose tree and shrub health issues, pests, and diseases
Develop professional arboricultural recommendations following ANSI standards
Prepare accurate proposals and cost estimates for tree care services
Present recommendations and educate clients on safe, professional tree care
Partner closely with production crews to ensure successful project execution
Attend networking events and business development functions to generate new opportunities
Consistently achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need

ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days)
2+ years of arboriculture experience
Proven sales experience or strong customer relationship management skills
Excellent knowledge of tree identification, plant health care, pruning, removals, pest management, and diagnostics
Ability to prepare estimates and develop detailed client proposals
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable networking and developing new business opportunities
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
Valid Illinois Driver's License with a safe driving record
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an environmental or related field (preferred)
