About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the functional & non-functional requirements solicitation & requirements management process.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholder to facilitate, interview, extract, and document detail functional and non-functional requirements.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business priorities that must be factored into solution designs.
- Define and communicate system requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure requirements are concise enough to drive the establishment of the right technology solution.
- Analyze and conceptualize design of the solution, working with the Solution Architects, Vendors, Software Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to achieve the business objectives.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with business, technology and vendor teams.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage competing priorities, scope changes, and conflicting requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSc in Business Administration or/and Computer Science
- 5+ years progressive experience working in a Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solution Analyst in a software development environment.
- Strong business side knowledge of the health and wellness space and ability to rapidly acquire analysis methods and processes using a framework.
- Understanding of ETL (data transformation) processes, tools and practices, including mapping specifications.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) and/or Agile-related certifications (PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or Agile BA) are considered an asset.
- Experience in health benefits, wellness, disability management, insurance, healthcare, or employee benefits industries is considered an asset.
