About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, both physical and virtualized.
  • Provision and manage cloud environments (virtual machines, networking, cost management, and scalability).
  • Manage storage and NAS units, backup policies, redundancy, and recovery.
  • Configure and monitor networks (TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, access control).
  • Manage internal user accounts (creation, permissions, and access control).
  • Control IT assets (inventory, allocation, and equipment and license lifecycle).
  • Specify and gather infrastructure requirements for new projects.
  • Monitor availability, capacity, and performance of environments, and respond to incidents.
  • Support integration and maintenance of development, staging, and production environments.
  • Automate operational and provisioning routines (scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent).
  • Apply information security best practices and keep infrastructure documentation up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Information Technology, Networks, Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and backup procedures.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD (continuous integration and delivery).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Experience with containers / Docker.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and incident response.
  • Intermediate or advanced English (technical reading and communication).
