Drive the agency’s SEO framework and accountability standards, ensuring teams meet deliverables and KPIs through consistent process execution.
Act as the primary SEO strategist for high-value clients, translating complex performance data into clear, narrative-driven business insights.
Lead the development of high-level SEO strategies that align with broader client business goals.
Oversee team activity and performance, providing coaching and troubleshooting for underperforming accounts without needing to manage the daily technical delivery.
Drive innovative tactics, including optimizing for AI and the evolving future of search behavior.
Collaborate closely with global leads to maintain team alignment and operational efficiency.
Review all team deliverables to ensure they meet agency standards for quality, accuracy, and impact.
Support new business development by crafting compelling SEO strategies and contributing to pitches.
Lead thought leadership initiatives, including the development of case studies and industry insights.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of SEO experience, with a track record of leading successful organic search initiatives.
Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to explain the "why" behind the data to executive-level stakeholders.
A visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt agency strategies to the evolving search landscape.
Prior experience managing and mentoring SEO teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
Advanced experience implementing SEO strategies using AI software and technologies.
High proficiency with industry tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
Strong data analysis skills, specifically with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Highly accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
