About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct market, technology, and competitive analyses to support identification and evaluation of new business development opportunities
- Maintain and continue to optimize internal infrastructure to monitor and track strategic opportunities
- Build market models, valuation analyses, and financial models to support business and capital allocation decisions
- Assist with due diligence and synthesize findings into presentations for executive-level discussions
- Build a strong understanding of the company’s current product portfolio, target end markets, and pipeline priorities to better inform strategic decisions and direction
- Partner and maintain effective communication and alignment with marketing, finance, R&D and other business functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- Engineering, science or healthcare background and experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market modeling capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools
