About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsibility for the sustainable development and expansion of your sales territory
  • Building long-term partnerships with hospitals and interventional physicians in radiology, vascular surgery and cardiology
  • Clinical consultation and support for the use of our innovative Penumbra products
  • Independently executing product launches and delivering presentations to users and procurement
  • Strategic analysis and further development of existing accounts as well as identification of new market opportunities
  • Establishing and maintaining close relationships with relevant decision-makers and key opinion leaders
  • Implementing regional sales and marketing strategies with a high degree of autonomy
  • Assisting with interventional procedures and providing support directly in the clinical setting
  • Representing Penumbra at conferences, workshops and professional events
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams at national and European levels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed training or degree in medicine, natural sciences or business administration
  • Several years of sales experience with a strong closing orientation and enthusiasm for developing new opportunities
  • Understanding of clinical processes and the ability to build trusting relationships within hospital environments
  • Motivated personality with a confident presence, strong initiative and enthusiasm for innovative MedTech solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a collaborative, solution-focused working style
  • High willingness to learn, flexibility and motivation to succeed in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
  • Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high level of personal responsibility
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the sales territory
