About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a dedicated portfolio of existing smaller builder accounts.
  • Lead a value-driven sales process by conducting in-depth discovery calls to deeply understand the needs and pain points of existing dealers.
  • Craft and present tailored product solutions, focusing on Pentair's differentiators in technology and service.
  • Skillfully manage a pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close new business, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer support.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in an inside sales or account executive role with full sales cycle responsibility, preferably in the pool or related industry.
  • A proven and verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust in a remote environment.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing complex deal cycles.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office products.
