About the role
- - Oversee and manage the strategic direction of projects, designate tasks to Producers and Designers accordingly, and ensure the team stays on track to meet clients' needs based on the scope of work agreements.
- - Lead client meetings, serving as the first point of contact for any concerns or questions.
- - Monitor clients' business, industry activities, and related media coverage to maintain a current knowledge base of the relevant market and news cycles.
- - Use industry-specific research assessments to inform strategic client recommendations and proposals for potential clients.
- - Work closely with client teams and internal teams to provide direction that turns qualitative and quantitative research into creative, emotionally compelling, and digital storytelling concepts that capture the depth of insights and findings.
- - Focus on macro strategic choices within the realms of brand strategy, campaign development, advertising, and digital strategy, rather than on details of design or production.
Requirements
- - 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or a related creative field, 4+ in a leadership capacity managing teams
- - An ability to lead, mentor, and motivate talented, high-achieving teams, empowering different types of personalities with a team-first mentality
- - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- - The ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities
- - A willingness to learn new skills and participate in new projects, leading by example and embracing new challenges
- - Strong interest in creative content
- - Past experience working in a client service environment
- - Previous work on public affairs or public awareness campaigns, professional services, or complex issues like healthcare or finance is preferred
- - Experience working on remote teams is preferred
