About the role
- Implement backup projects for new clients
- Participate in internal R&D projects for backup products
- Administer backup environments for Penso clients
- Respond to and support incidents via the Service Desk tool
- Provide support via phone or video conference when necessary
- Document activities using the Service Desk tool and agile methodologies
- Represent Penso to clients through support channels
- Update and create new procedures
- Monitor backups for priority clients
- Maintain impeccable professionalism and conduct
Requirements
- Required experience administering and implementing Veeam Data Platform
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (from the second semester onward) in IT or a related field
- Fundamentals of administration for Windows and Linux operating systems
- Fundamentals of computer networking and the TCP/IP protocol
- Experience with virtualization: VMware and Hyper-V; and SaaS: Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with Service Desk and IT Service Management
- Basic knowledge of sizing for Veeam backup environments
- Troubleshooting-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- VMCE (Veeam Certified Engineer) certification preferred
- Knowledge of public cloud environments preferred
