About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, from project kickoff through lessons learned
- Analyze business needs based on field feedback and migration experience
- Write documentation and user stories
- Facilitate workshops and webinars
- Ensure migrations follow a clear, documented process
- Adapt the approach to each situation while adhering to existing processes
- Communicate how technical solutions align with business needs
- Serve as the information liaison with the PSS Back team responsible for integration, fixes, and checks
- Contribute to configuring Pennylane in line with accounting firms’ business processes
- Participate in functional testing before migration
- Collaborate on debugging and resolving business issues after migration
- Conduct intermediate and final functional testing
- Contribute to post-migration reports and propose improvements
- Identify and prioritize automation and optimization needs
- Monitor product and business developments
- Propose improvements and report gaps or malfunctions
- Help turn business needs into actionable solutions
- Understand the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and provide occasional production support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting qualification: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or Master’s degree in Accounting and Audit (CCA)
- Experience in an accounting firm
- Experience with one or more accounting migrations is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong service mindset and customer relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to rapid product changes
- Eagerness to learn continuously and stay up to date with Pennylane’s functional developments
- Minimum A2 level of English
