About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, from project kickoff through lessons learned
- Analyze business needs based on field feedback and migration experience
- Write documentation and user stories
- Facilitate workshops and webinars
- Ensure migrations follow a clear, documented process
- Adapt the approach to each situation while adhering to existing processes
- Communicate how technical solutions align with business needs
- Act as the information liaison with the PSS Back team, responsible for integration, fixes, and quality control
- Contribute to configuring Pennylane in line with accounting firms’ business processes
- Participate in functional testing before migration
- Collaborate on debugging and resolving business issues after migration
- Conduct interim and final functional tests
- Contribute to post-migration reports and propose improvements
- Identify and prioritize automation and optimization needs
- Participate in implementing them through documentation, feedback, or concrete proposals
- Monitor business user satisfaction after each change
- Maintain awareness of product and business developments
- Propose improvements and report gaps or malfunctions
- Turn business needs into actionable solutions
- Understand the challenges faced by the PSS Back team and provide occasional production support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting background: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), Advanced Technician Certificate in Accounting and Management (BTS CGO), French Accounting Diploma (DCG), Higher French Accounting Diploma (DSCG), or Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing (CCA)
- Experience in an accounting firm
- Previous experience with one or more migrations is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong service mindset and customer relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to rapid product developments
- Eagerness to learn continuously and stay up to date with Pennylane’s functional developments
- English proficiency at A2 level or above
