About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, prepare, and facilitate meetings with accounting firms, from project kickoff through lessons learned
- Analyze business needs based on field feedback and migration experience
- Write documentation and user stories
- Lead workshops and webinars
- Ensure migrations follow a clear and well-documented process
- Adapt the approach to each situation while adhering to existing processes
- Communicate how technical solutions align with business needs
- Serve as the information liaison with the PSS Back team, responsible for integration, issue resolution, and quality control
- Contribute to configuring Pennylane according to accounting firms’ business processes
- Participate in functional testing before migration
- Collaborate on debugging and resolving business issues after migration
- Conduct interim and final functional tests
- Contribute to post-migration reports and propose improvements
- Identify and prioritize automation and optimization needs
- Participate in implementing improvements and monitor business user satisfaction
- Maintain product and business knowledge through ongoing monitoring
- Propose improvements and report gaps or malfunctions
- Turn business needs into actionable solutions
- Understand the challenges facing the PSS Back team and provide occasional production support when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting qualification: University Diploma in Business Administration (IUT GEA), Advanced Technician Certificate in Accounting and Management (BTS CGO), Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG), Higher Diploma in Accounting and Management (DSCG), or Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing (CCA)
- Experience working in an accounting firm
- Previous experience with one or more migrations is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Service-oriented mindset and strong customer relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to rapid product changes
- Eagerness to learn continuously and stay up to date with Pennylane’s functional developments
- English proficiency at A2 level or above
