About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will be part of a technical organization of more than 250 people. Each engineer belongs to a team focused on a part of the product and reports to a Team Lead or an Engineering Manager.
- Each team has all the skills necessary to build features end-to-end autonomously; you will work daily with a product manager, a designer, and software engineers.
- You will participate in the discovery phase of projects with the product manager and designer to define the feature to be built; then you will work with other engineers to design the software architecture, implement it, test it, and deploy it to production.
- The team also supports customers using the features developed by monitoring and fixing production issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- A balanced mix of technical, business, and product skills
- Demonstrated empathy for your users and a desire to solve real problems for them
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your ideas clearly
- Fluent in English (French is not required)
- A team player with experience working in an agile environment
Benefits
Comp & perks- You can work remotely from anywhere in Europe, as long as your contract allows it
- You will receive a compensation package
- You will be granted company equity so you can share in the success you help build
