Support Specialist, Financial Management and Accounting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will join the Pennylane Academy and be trained on the product and the team's processes.
- You will learn about our company, our vision, and the different departments.

- You will begin handling accounting-related requests: receiving and qualifying requests based on a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and providing quick, impactful responses.
- You will gain autonomy and take full ownership of requests, ensuring proper follow-up until tickets are fully resolved to guarantee user satisfaction.
- You will start managing increasingly complex customer requests.
- You will contribute to creating and updating help materials available to clients to increase their autonomy.
- You will share your accounting knowledge and field experience with colleagues.
- You will represent the client's voice and usage, sharing constructive feedback with product teams.
- You will become a product expert and help improve your team's efficiency by identifying areas for improvement.
- You will take ownership and drive to success projects that matter to you and contribute to your growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting background (e.g., BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME‑PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor's in Administration and Accounting).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting firm (ideally having worked through at least three fiscal periods).
- Direct experience working with company owners is a plus (e.g., internal advising).
- Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies.
- Autonomy and the ability to solve problems independently and find solutions.
- Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus.
- Professional-level English.
- Strong written communication skills and a pedagogical approach to interact with users clearly and professionally.
- Ability to understand and meet client needs, deliver excellent service, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the rapid evolution of the product.
- Willingness to learn and stay up to date with product developments.
