About the role
- Provide high-level leadership and strategic direction in development of clinical programs, policies, and practices
- Lead efforts to improve clinical quality, safety, risk management, infection control, and patient outcomes across multiple locations
- Ensure agencies are survey-ready by providing tools, resources, and training to foster operational readiness and compliance
- Partner with leadership teams to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives and track clinical and operational data
- Direct coordination and creation of educational programs, new hire orientation, and ongoing training initiatives
- Compile and analyze clinical quality data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies
- Report on patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, and customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with evolving healthcare regulations and ensure organizational compliance
- Travel regularly as part of role to support field leaders and affiliates
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in home health and/or hospice leadership
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- In-depth knowledge of home health and hospice industries, including state and federal regulations and survey readiness
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong experience in data analysis and performance improvement
- Ability to inspire change and drive continuous improvement across multi-site organizations
- Travel required (approx. up to 50% / 2-3 days per week) and travel across Connecticut for field-based clinical excellence
