About the role
- Coordinate and support the Events Manager with PENN Interactive’s events and experiences, by ensuring events are set up to theScore Bet and Hollywood Casino brand standards.
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned partnership relationships, supporting communication, asset planning, and execution of contractual hospitality deliverables.
- Lead and execute VIP hospitality assets tied to partnerships, including suites, ticket banks, meet-and-greets, hosted experiences, and premium event access.
- Own the planning and execution of VIP-focused events and experiences, ensuring a high-touch, white-glove experience for players and partners.
- Organize and analyze internal records to assist the events team in making strategic decisions for all branded events.
- Develop and manage administrative processes to track event information and logistics.
- Maintain and manage event databases, budget templates, materials & supplies, reports, calendars, and the marketing department’s central library of event marketing collateral.
- Assist with event logistics including but not limited to: coordinating ticket distribution, event related travel & accommodations (for internal and external stakeholders) creating seating charts, selecting menu & beverage options & quantity.
- Manage VIP guest lists, host communications, and on-site hospitality needs to ensure seamless execution.
- Source swag and help select best pricing and quality items for promotional event giveaways.
- Source and manage event opportunities and make recommendations as directed by taking meetings and reporting on opportunities to Event Manager.
- Collaborate with Compliance to ensure vendor compliance approval in alignment with state-level regulatory requirements.
- Calculate spend/ROI analysis of each event managed and provide recommendations to improve each event.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in marketing, PR, business administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years events experience.
- Experience supporting or managing partnership relationships and/or VIP hospitality programs preferred.
- At least 1 year budget management experience for a mid to large size events team.
- Excellent detail orientation skills.
- Ability to execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to interact confidently with VIP players, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
