About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy, including promotional materials and content
- Plan, manage, and execute high-priority events, including the Penn Abroad Fair
- Manage the Penn Abroad website and social media platforms
- Manage the in-office student and visitor experience
- Supervise and support the Front Desk Receptionist and one student worker
- Lead data-informed student outreach, engagement, and retention strategy
- Use technology platforms to identify targeted student engagement opportunities
- Liaise with the Penn Global Major Gifts Officer on grant stewardship and donor engagement
- Develop donor narratives and communicate program impact and student outcomes
- Partner with the Executive Director and Penn Abroad Leadership Team on Penn Forward priorities and institutional initiatives
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with social media management, web design, and event planning
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and/or donor stewardship strongly preferred
- Experience in higher education administration or a related field strongly preferred
