About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy, including promotional materials and content
Plan, manage, and execute high-priority events, including the Penn Abroad Fair
Manage the Penn Abroad website and social media platforms
Manage the in-office student and visitor experience
Supervise and support the Front Desk Receptionist and one student worker
Lead data-informed student outreach, engagement, and retention strategy
Use technology platforms to identify targeted student engagement opportunities
Liaise with the Penn Global Major Gifts Officer on grant stewardship and donor engagement
Develop donor narratives and communicate program impact and student outcomes
Partner with the Executive Director and Penn Abroad Leadership Team on Penn Forward priorities and institutional initiatives
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with social media management, web design, and event planning
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and/or donor stewardship strongly preferred
Experience in higher education administration or a related field strongly preferred
