About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high quality Analytics, Research Programs, Applications, and Financial engines to WRDS academic community and corporate clients
  • Support faculty and PhD users by offering consultative guidance
  • Keep track of the evolution of academic research in finance and accounting
  • Construct and enhance existing data-research products
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
  • 1 year of post-bachelor's experience in research programs, analytics, applications, and related research tools
  • Experience in academic research using Python and/or SAS programming skills
  • Familiarity with CRSP, Compustat, IBES, and/or Household-Finance datasets
