About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support for managing and analyzing neuroimaging data.
- Manage and clean data, and query databases to create reports and determine data accuracy.
- Export/import data between different sources.
- Write and edit existing code to organize data for analyses.
- Assist with basic statistical analyses using R and other tools.
- Check incoming neuroimaging data for completeness and accuracy and process it with available scripts.
- Communicate with researchers to obtain missing information.
- Write technical and user documentation.
- Developed understanding of neuroimaging methods related to various funded imaging grants in the Lab.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with major in Data Science, Psychology, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- 0 to 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience in biomedical or psychological research or data management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Python preferred.
- Useful experience with Linux/Unix/Bash scripting.
- Extensive knowledge of tools for manipulating and converting data.
- Facility with numbers and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with statistics and statistical programming (R preferred).
- Programming experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages preferred.
- Capacity for learning new technical skills independently.
- Preferred experience with neuroimaging tools (FSL, SPM, AFNI, ANTs).
