About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the daily financial accounting and monthly close process for Mail Services, Penn Children's Center, PennCard and 9300 Administrative Center
Perform monthly analysis of the income statement and balance sheet
Prepare Unrelated Business Income Tax Filings for review and approval
Assist in the continuous review and improvement of the Internal Control Environment
Maintain information in RevenueVision while providing support to business operators

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree is required
minimum of 3 years experience or an equivalent combination is required
Solid understanding of US GAAP principles
US Tax Code knowledge
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize items
Customer service mentality that fosters a collaborative environment
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Familiarity and experience with Penn's systems and the University's policies are strongly preferred
