About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the daily financial accounting and monthly close process for Mail Services, Penn Children's Center, PennCard and 9300 Administrative Center
  • Perform monthly analysis of the income statement and balance sheet
  • Prepare Unrelated Business Income Tax Filings for review and approval
  • Assist in the continuous review and improvement of the Internal Control Environment
  • Maintain information in RevenueVision while providing support to business operators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • minimum of 3 years experience or an equivalent combination is required
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP principles
  • US Tax Code knowledge
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize items
  • Customer service mentality that fosters a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Familiarity and experience with Penn's systems and the University's policies are strongly preferred
