About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day management of complex projects
  • Ensure compliance with Sponsors, University, School and IRB policies
  • Oversee launch and intervention of large, multi-year patient-centered trial
  • Serve as the primary liaison between investigative team and external entities
  • Oversee recruitment and supervise study staff
  • Manage coordination of the study including regulatory approvals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Progressively responsible project management and supervisory experience preferred in an academic institution managing projects
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business relationships with collaborators
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient research processes
  • Independent and team collaboration in a fast-paced, leadership setting
  • Initiative, organization, flexibility, sound judgment, and prioritization of multiple demands
  • Anticipate project-related problems and develop solutions
