About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day management of complex projects
Ensure compliance with Sponsors, University, School and IRB policies
Oversee launch and intervention of large, multi-year patient-centered trial
Serve as the primary liaison between investigative team and external entities
Oversee recruitment and supervise study staff
Manage coordination of the study including regulatory approvals
Coordinate study meetings and oversee trial enrollment
Provide oversight of research activities including protocol development and implementation
Build relationships with study partners and negotiate data agreements
Assist in assessing staffing needs across projects and supervise research staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Progressively responsible project management and supervisory experience preferred in an academic institution managing projects
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Strong business relationships with collaborators
Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient research processes
Independent and team collaboration in a fast-paced, leadership setting
Initiative, organization, flexibility, sound judgment, and prioritization of multiple demands
Anticipate project-related problems and develop solutions
