About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day management of complex projects
- Ensure compliance with Sponsors, University, School and IRB policies
- Oversee launch and intervention of large, multi-year patient-centered trial
- Serve as the primary liaison between investigative team and external entities
- Oversee recruitment and supervise study staff
- Manage coordination of the study including regulatory approvals
- Coordinate study meetings and oversee trial enrollment
- Provide oversight of research activities including protocol development and implementation
- Build relationships with study partners and negotiate data agreements
- Assist in assessing staffing needs across projects and supervise research staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master of Science and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Progressively responsible project management and supervisory experience preferred in an academic institution managing projects
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong business relationships with collaborators
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient research processes
- Independent and team collaboration in a fast-paced, leadership setting
- Initiative, organization, flexibility, sound judgment, and prioritization of multiple demands
- Anticipate project-related problems and develop solutions
