About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain, configure, and support cloud-based platforms used by administrative departments, faculty, staff, and students
Perform ongoing administration and maintenance of cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and data privacy
Maintain, configure, and manage hosted websites on Pantheon and on-premise webservers
Work with stakeholders to define standards, best practices, and long-term plans for services
Document configurations, procedures, and service changes
Provide support for troubleshooting, access, and issue resolution as needed
Participate in on-call support rotation during non-business hours for urgent service issues or outages.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience with Cloud services, particularly Google Workspace for Education
Experience with WordPress and PHP highly desirable
Experience with Apache and webservers
Experience working in Linux environments
Working knowledge scripting in Shell, Perl, and Python
Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to quickly learn and apply technologies.
