About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer telephone calls courteously and professionally
  • Support OGP team with clerical work, including filing, scanning, and entering correspondence
  • Assist with travel arrangements and reimbursements for the OGP team
  • Support preparation of in-person and virtual events
  • Maintain office calendar and schedule meetings
  • Work with fundraising and marketing directors on messaging
  • Support fundraising directors in planning donor visits and events
  • Ensure confidentiality and data integrity in donor database management
  • Help maintain the Harrison Society and track goals
  • Generate reports and extract data for leads and presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Grad/GE Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Knowledge of higher education and not-for-profit sectors preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
  • High level of competency with computer software programs including database management, Microsoft office suite, CRM software, and internet research
  • Capacity to learn and apply new technologies as needed
  • Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion
  • Occasional weekend and/or evening work required
