About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a post award grants manager in Engineering Post-Award Research Services
- Responsible for the financial reporting of grant awards including oversight of award budgeting
- Manage funds, reporting and expenditure rates, and meet individually with faculty to manage expenditure projections
- Approve and oversee subcontracts expenditures and allocate payroll for PI and research group members
- Advise PIs of allowability issues for planned expenditures
- Oversee close-out processes and respond to audit questions involving research expenditures
- Help develop and establish research services post award policies and expectations
- Oversee and manage PIs’ unrestricted funds, including start-up funding and discretionary research funding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of post award grants management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
