About the role

  • Personally solicit Wharton Fund prospects at the Benjamin Franklin Society level
  • Manage a portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects while collaborating with the Leadership Gift Officer
  • Work with Alumni Relations to recruit fundraising volunteers and manage their progress
  • Achieve Wharton Fund cash and participation targets each fiscal year
  • Analyze reports to evaluate alumni giving patterns and inform leadership strategies
  • Identify and cultivate leadership annual giving prospects

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with alumni, volunteers, and high-capacity donors
  • Proven skill in frontline fundraising or sales, including the ability to confidently solicit gifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience working with CRM or fundraising databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to analyze donor data
